Kid's Valentine Project Round-Up

My team and I love coming up with ideas for handmade children’s Valentine’s Day gifts and this year has been a blast.

I wanted to bring them all together in one final post for those of you who fancy a little afternoon crafting before the big day. Our quick and easy candy huggers are a simple project for those with a Cricut machine, just pop a little chocolate heart on the bear’s belly and have the kiddos fold the little arms around to give it a hug. The printable Valentine cards are perfect if you are short on time, just print, trim and write names in the blanks – simple! The desktop mailbox is ideal for collecting all the little treats your child might receive during the day at school and the printable valentines labels are great for personalizing any store bought gifts. The paper heart garland is great for those who are new to the sewing machine – just trim the hearts in a variety of solid and glitter papers and stitch them together down the middle. Finally I just had to include the mini felt heart hugging bears . I don’t expect anyone will have the time (or the patience!) to make one for each and every classmate but what about crafting one pair for a special friend?

How ever you and your little ones choose to show your love on Valentines Day, I hope you have lots of fun. Enjoy! ~ Lia
